Was only there for 2 days and this guy ruined my fun Vegas weekend that I had planned out for months ahead of time. But ever since then I have not been contacted for an apology or anything at all. The beverage manager had them check the cameras and of course they saw after about an hour waiting that indeed I have a 50. Gave me a horrible attitude, ruined my weekend cuz I was pissed not at the money but at the disrespect and attitude. He tried to steal my money because he thought I was drunk. So I told him and he tried to make me feel like I was wrong and said I only gave him a 20. He came back and threw the change on the bar and walked away. So whatever, I give him a $50 bill and ask for change so I can play the machines. Carded me and gave me attitude and smiled at a group of girls right next to me. Then I go to the bar to get 3 water bottles and the bartender gave me a horrible attitude. And even had my friends which were staying at a different hotel over to gamble at the linq. First night there was going good even tho we were losing gambling. So we booked the room this time around and the room was really nice and clean just really small but a nice view also. From gambling to restaurants it was just fun we barely left. Decided to stay at the linq because last time we were in Vegas we went in and had a lot of Fun in there. Overall, a lot better than I expected from other reviews, and yes I would recommend it. Access to the monorail was easy and made travel up and down the strip easier - especially if you need to go the conference center.

However the casino does have low bet tables which is better for the amateur gambler. A couple of criticisms: there are not enough food outlets in the hotel, particularly for breakfast at the weekend and the casino floor is old-style with low ceiling and gloomy, some of the more modern ones are much more appealing. The lifts were quick enough up to the rooms - I was in zone A or whatever they call it - but the view from the room was non existent, not that I really needed it. I was impressed with the quietness of the room - even when it was a busy Saturday night very little noise came in from the corridor. They were spacious enough, spotlessly clean and not bashed about like you can find in other hotels. I believe this hotel has been (fairly) recently revamped and I certainly couldn't fault the rooms.
